Sci-Fi Vacations and Side Trips (episode 22 of the podcast)

This time on Science Fiction 101 we attempt to identify the best science-fictional places to visit. We start with a list of about 25 places, but hope to add more as time goes on. Indeed, if you have any further suggestions, we invite you to let us know so that we can add them!

Our full list of vacation spots will be posted to this blog shortly, under a separate heading, so that we can easily update it without it getting lost amongst the podcast episodes.

Also in this episode: Colin's royally fiendish quiz, and our usual run through of past/present/future SF.

Items discussed include:

We hope you enjoy the episode!

  1. these are just some if the places I've deliberately visited whilst 'in the area': 8th hooks and ladders in NYC from the ghostbusters films
The red Jenga like modern art sculpture, in LA.
The set of pitch black in coober peedy l, Australia.
The train station in Liege, Belgium, which was featured in guardians of the galaxy.
The house from the will smith film adaptation of I am legend. (It's also the house from the Crosby show, and sesame street).
There is a HR giger museum, somewhere in Europe which looks incredible, and would love to visit one day.
